RITES Engineering Professionals Recruitment 2026 - send in Online for 33 Manager, Assistant Manager, DGM Posts

RITES has invited online applications for 33 Engineering Professional posts on a regular basis – 4 DGM posts (Cluster-II) along with 29 Manager/Assistant Manager posts. Applications for both clusters can be submitted online at rites.com from 15 September 2026 to 8 October 2026.

Details

Cluster-II – DGM Posts (Minimum 11 Years’ Post-Qualification Experience)
  • Experience equivalence (Cluster-II): Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organization aspirants need 11 years’ total experience with at least 2 years in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 24.10 LPA as on the final date of application. Private-sector aspirants need 11 years’ total experience with an annual CTC of at least Rs. 60,000–1,80,000 or CDA Level 11 of the 7th CPC pay matrix (or equivalent for non-IDA/CDA organizations).
Cluster-I – Assistant Manager Posts (Minimum 2 Years’ Post-Qualification Experience)
  • Experience equivalence (Cluster-I, Manager posts only – not stated for Assistant Manager posts in the source): Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organization aspirants need 5 years’ total experience with at least 2 years in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 16.27 LPA as on the final date of application. 40,000–1,40,000 or CDA Level 7 of the 7th CPC pay matrix (or equivalent). Private-sector aspirants need 5 years’ total experience with an annual CTC of at least Rs.
Common Eligibility Notes (Both Clusters)
  • Candidates should note that, UR/EWS applicants ( along with SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD test-takers applying against unreserved posts) need a First Class degree/minimum 60% marks; reserved-category applicants need at least 50% marks for consideration against reserved posts.
  • According to the latest notice, The degree must be recognized by AICTE/UGC (as applicable), from a University/Institution established or incorporated as prescribed by law; Sections A & B of the Institution of Engineers (India) examination is additionally accepted as equivalent.
  • If the certificate/marksheet does not show First Class/percentage, the applicant must submit the university’s CGPA-to-percentage conversion formula; absent a formula, an institutional undertaking is required, in addition to 6/10 on a 10-point scale will be treated as 60%.
  • Training (except on-the-job), internship, teaching, academic, fellowship or PhD research experience does NOT count as experience; Apprenticeship Act, 1961 training in the relevant discipline does count, subject to other requirements conditions.
  • Date of acquiring qualification is the earliest of: last day of the month of the final qualifying exam, date of declaration of result, date of issuance of marksheet, or date of issuance of degree – no relaxation is given on this account.
RITES Limited Recruitment 2026 Pay Scale
  • Pay will be fixed at the minimum of the scale. Employees appointed on regular basis from other PSUs/Govt. organizations who applied through proper channel or submitted an NOC at interview are shortlisted for pay protection (Basic+DA) as per Company policy. In addition to Basic Pay, chosen aspirants get DA, fixed/variable allowances, Performance Related Pay, medical facilities, HRA/lease accommodation, PF, Gratuity, Post-Retirement Medical Scheme, leave as per rules, Maternity/Paternity Leave, Group Insurance along with Leave Encashment.
Cluster-I – Manager & Assistant Manager (Written Test + Interview)
  • The official notification states that, Descriptive test: 125 objective-type questions, 1 mark each, duration 2.5 hours. No negative marking. PwBD aspirants get 50 minutes’ compensatory time. Qualifying marks: minimum 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts.
  • Document Scrutiny: Based on written-test results along with posts , RITES scrutinizes submitted documents; shortlisted aspirants are called for interview preceded by original document verification.
  • Interview: aspirants are called in the ratio of 1:6 to the number of openings . Weightage: Pen- along with -paper exam – 60%; Interview – 40% (Technical & Professional proficiency 30, Personality/Communication/Competency 10). Minimum interview marks: 60% for UR/EWS, 50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD against reserved posts. No minimum qualifying marks are required in the aggregate.
  • Test centers (tentative, subject to number of aspirants as well as RITES’ discretion, except Delhi/Gurgaon): Delhi/Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati. aspirants give two center preferences; RITES reserves the right to allot any center.
Cluster-II – DGM (Interview Only, No Written Test)
  • The official notification states that, Document Scrutiny: Submitted documents are scrutinized; meeting criteria aspirants are called for original document verification in addition to the hiring procedure.
  • According to the latest notice, Interview: Weightage – Interview 100% (Technical & Professional proficiency 65%, Personality/Communication/Competency 35%). No minimum qualifying marks are required in the aggregate. Minimum interview marks: 60% for UR/EWS, 50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD against reserved posts.
Common to Both Clusters
  • aspirants may appear for the selection procedure in Hindi or English.
  • Based on requirement as well as RITES’ discretion, the descriptive test as well as /or interview may be conducted from Regional Offices, intimated via call letters.
  • Candidates should note that, Appointment is subject to being found medically fit as per RITES Rules in addition to Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post.
  • Chosen applicants will be on probation for 1 year as well as must clear a screening test for confirmation; failure may extend probation.
  • Chosen applicants are liable for posting anywhere in India or abroad as per Company requirements. An employee’s application will not be forwarded for outside jobs until 2 years of RITES service is completed.
How to Apply for RITES Limited Recruitment 2026
  • Ensure you satisfy the criteria conditions for the VC No. you intend to register for (Cluster-I or Cluster-II).
  • register online in the registration format in the Career Section of rites.com ; note the ‘Registration No.’ generated for future reference.
  • Carefully along with correctly fill in all details under “Fill/Modify Registration form”.
  • Upload all supporting documents under the “Upload Document” section, substantiating your qualification claims (list in the Documents section below).
  • Make the online payment under the “Make Payment” section; obtain the final online form after successful payment.
  • Applications without successful fee payment are treated as incomplete as well as summarily rejected.
  • Submit only one application per position ; the application cannot be altered once submitted.
To Upload During Online Application (Both Clusters)
  • High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth
  • Certificates as well as mark sheets of all academic/professional qualifications (10th, 12th, Diploma/Graduation/Post-Graduation, as claimed)
  • Percentage Conversion Document from the University/Institute (wherever applicable)
  • EWS/SC/ST/OBC Certificate in the prescribed Govt. of India format (wherever applicable)
  • Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Aadhaar Card, etc.)
  • PAN Card
  • Aspirants are advised that, Proof of each period of experience claimed, in a single PDF in chronological order (offer letter, joining order, relieving letter, service certificate, relevant pay slips, etc.)
  • PwBD Certificate as per latest format (if applicable)
  • Any other document supporting your candidature as well as claims
To Carry for Document Verification/Interview (if called)
  • Printed, signed copy of the online Online form with Registration Number
  • 1 recent passport-size colour photograph
  • Self-attested photocopies of all documents listed above, strictly in order, plus originals for verification
  • Duly filled two copies of Annexure-A (Documents Submission Checklist) with supporting documents in chronological order
  • For CTC/salary proof: last Form No. 16/Earning Card/salary slip/Appraisal letter or similar document ( additionally reproducible on the day of interview)
  • The conducting body has announced that, Caste Certificate as per Annexure I (SC/ST) or Annexure II (OBC-NCL), valid as on the cut-off date, plus the OBC-NCL Annexure III non-creamy-layer declaration where applicable
  • According to the latest notice, EWS Income & Asset Certificate (Govt. of India format, valid FY 2026-27), where applicable
Important Conditions
  • Management reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify/alter the recruitment process at any stage without notice; the number of positions may vary.
  • applicants from Government organizations/PSUs joining RITES must first be properly relieved from their parent organization.
  • If a candidate is found not to fulfil qualification norms, or has furnished incorrect/false information or suppressed material facts, their candidature is liable for cancellation – even after appointment, in which case services are liable to be terminated.
  • Any corrigendum/addendum will be displayed only on www.rites.com; applicants should keep checking for updates.
  • An offer letter is not proof of experience; joining/relieving order or experience certificate is required to claim experience.
  • Legal jurisdiction for any dispute is Delhi. No fares/TA/DA is payable for the selection procedure.
  • Where a specialization is required in the qualifying degree, a certificate from the University/Institution specifically confirming the specialization must be submitted.
  • OBC-NCL in addition to EWS certificates must not be older than one year on the cut-off date (deadline of application); non-compliance means the candidate will be considered under General (UR) positions only, if otherwise eligible .
  • According to the latest notice, aspirants found guilty of misconduct at any stage of recruitment (or later) are liable to legal/criminal prosecution as well as disqualification.
