Konkan Railway Recruitment 2026 – Walk in for Technician, Project Engineer as well as More Posts

According to the latest notice, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has invited applications for 7 posts on a fixed-term contract basis in the Project Development along with Monitoring Cell (PDMC), S&T Department. Selection is through a Walk-in Interview at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, on 07 as well as 08 September 2026.

Details

Monthly Remuneration (₹)
  • The official notification states that, Consolidated remuneration includes Other Allowances (HRA, Conveyance, Mobile Allowance), which vary by A/B/C class city classification of the place of posting.
Other Allowances & Facilities
  • The department has confirmed that, Life Insurance: Reimbursement of premium up to ₹500/month, on production of the original receipt.
  • The conducting body has announced that, Health Benefits: Medical Allowance of ₹500/month for OPD expenses, plus reimbursement of health insurance premium up to ₹500/month.
  • Interested applicants should know that, Annual Increment: 4% of the consolidated remuneration after completion of every year of contractual engagement.
  • TA & Hotel Accommodation: As per prescribed rates, when required to travel for government work beyond the Project area.
  • Travel Facilities: Complementary Railway Pass for duty travel; reimbursement for road travel as per KRCL's extant policy.
  • Candidates should note that, Rest House / Hotel: KRCL Rest House while on duty, if available; otherwise hotel charge reimbursement as per fixed rates.
  • Leave: 15 days fully earned leave per every 6 months (accumulable, non-encashable), plus 8 days Casual Leave per year of contract; weekly off as well as applicable public holidays.
  • Career Progression: In exceptional cases, upgradation to the next higher level is possible after 2 years of service, subject to post , HOD recommendation, screening, as well as interview.
KRCL Selection Process
  • Candidates should note that, applicants arrive at the venue at the specified time as well as register with the nominated KRCL authorized.
  • A Group Discussion (GD) or other elimination round may be introduced, depending on the number of applicants ; only those who clear it proceed to the interview.

Key Contract Conditions
  • Aspirants are advised that, Picked test-takers cannot claim regular/permanent absorption in KRCL on the basis of this contract, along with must give a written undertaking to that effect.
  • aspirants can be posted in addition to transferred anytime, anywhere to Project sites during the contract period, based on KRCL's requirement (except the USBRL Project).
  • Candidates should note that, Shortlisted test-takers should be able to join the Project site within 30 days of the offer of appointment.
  • Candidates should note that, An agreement as well as indemnity bond of ₹50,000 (on ₹100 stamp paper) must be executed in favour of KRCL.
  • Either party may terminate the contract with one month's notice or payment in lieu thereof; the Corporation may additionally terminate without assigning any reason if the appointee is found unsuitable.
  • The official notification states that, If any document/certificate/information is later found incorrect or false, the contractual service will be terminated immediately without notice, besides possible legal action.
  • Statutory Income Tax, Professional Tax, in addition to other applicable taxes will be deducted at source.
  • Any form of canvassing will result in disqualification at any stage of selection, without assigning any reason.
  • The Corporation reserves the right to cancel, restrict, curtail, or enlarge the contract engagement process at any time, without prior notice.
