According to the latest notice, Hindustan Copper (HCL) has made available the Recruitment 2026 notification for 43 Executive posts. meeting criteria aspirants can submit their online applications from 21 September 2026 to 5 october 2026. meeting criteria you can submit through the departmental webpage, hindustancopper.com.

Details

PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) Reservation
  • PwBD applicants appointed will be adjusted against the position of their respective category (UR/SC/OBC). Only persons with not less than 40% of the relevant disability are shortlisted under PwBD. Disablement categories identified per discipline are specified in the departmental circular (Geology, Environment Management, Mineral Processing, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, M&HS, Human Resources, Finance, as well as Survey each have specific identified categories); the Industrial Safety discipline/cadre is not identified suitable for PwBDs .
Experience Rules
  • Experience is reckoned only from the date of obtaining the basic/essential qualification prescribed for the post (i.e., from the date of result publication of that qualification).
  • Experience is counted only if in the relevant field – working experience in the advertised cadre/discipline in a Mining/Metal/Manufacturing industry, or in any other industry subject to submission of an Experience Certificate meeting HCL’s domain requirement (assessed at document verification).
  • Applicants must upload at least 2 of the following for each employment: Appointment Letter, Pay Slip, Form-16, PF Statement, or Bank Statement (towards salary credit). Failure to do hence leads to cancellation of candidature.
  • Experience gained through Training, Consultancy, Teaching, Fellowship, Internship, Apprenticeship, or Academic Project is NOT counted as experience.
HCL FTE Recruitment 2026 Age Limit, Experience & Salary Requirement
  • The department has confirmed that, For the M&HS Cadre specifically: Grade FTE-II, Consolidated Pay ₹94,200/-, Maximum Age 40 years, required Experience 3 years, minimum current/last employment monthly gross salary ₹50,000/-.
HCL FTE Recruitment 2026 Compensation Package
  • Chosen test-takers are entitled to the Consolidated Pay for their grade (see the table above), Employer’s PF Contribution, HRA, gratuity, medical benefits, leave encashment, as well as all other applicable benefits under HCL’s “Scheme for Engagement of Executives on Fixed Tenure Basis”.
HCL FTE Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
  • Selection is based entirely on performance in the Personal Interview (PI) – 100% weightage . There is no pen- along with -paper test by default, though HCL reserves the right to conduct a written screening test to shortlist aspirants for the interview, if required.
Zone of Consideration & Shortlisting
  • test-takers are called for interview in the ratio of 1:5 (5 applicants per advertised post ); for a single post , 10 aspirants are shortlisted.
  • If fewer than 5 applications are received for a post, the Selection Committee will assess as well as state the suitability of the interviewed test-takers directly.
  • Further shortlisting may be done from the shortlisted pool if posts remain vacant due to low turnout or an exhausted waitlist.
  • Shortlisting criteria: 1 mark for each completed year of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement (1/365 mark per additional day for incomplete years); 1 mark for each additional relevant degree over the minimum essential qualification, up to a maximum of 2 marks. HCL may add further criteria if required.
Document Verification
  • Interview intimation is communicated by email only; call letters are issued to shortlisted applicants .
  • Requests to change the interview/test date, time or venue once communicated will not be entertained.
  • The official notification states that, aspirants must bring an Original ID Card (Aadhaar, Driving Licence, or Voter ID) to the interview venue.
  • Original documents (as listed under Documents Required below) will be verified at the interview; non-production of originals will debar the candidate from appearing.
How to Apply for HCL FTE Recruitment 2026
  • Access hindustancopper.com in addition to register under the Career section, using the online application link.
  • Read the “How to fill the Online Registration form” instructions on the website before proceeding.
  • Fill in all mandatory details: qualifying degree details, exact percentage of marks (do not round off), email address, mobile number, correspondence address, in addition to upload a scanned photograph in addition to signature (JPEG) along with scanned qualification along with experience documents.

  • According to the latest notice, Self-certified English/Hindi translation of the SC/OBC certificate, if originally issued in another language
  • According to the latest notice, Minimum any 2 of: Appointment Letter/Pay Slip/Form-16/PF Statement/Bank Statement (towards salary credit), for each declared employment, to be uploaded in the online application itself
Important Conditions
  • Application Fee: General & OBC applicants pay a non-refundable ₹500/- processing fee; SC/PwBD applicants are exempted. Fee (plus applicable bank charges) must be paid only via Payment Gateway/NEFT online transfer through HCL’s website – no other remittance mode is accepted.
  • Appointment is subject to the candidate being found medically fit by a Medical Authority prescribed by HCL Management.
  • The department has confirmed that, Travelling ticket fare (from the correspondence address to the interview venue) is reimbursed only for applicants who are actually interviewed; those found ineligible at document verification are not meeting criteria for reimbursement.
  • Aspirants are advised that, The services of the incumbent are purely temporary/contractual along with do not confer any right or claim to regular employment, absorption, or regularization in HCL.
  • Appointment remains provisional until caste/category certificates along with other testimonials are verified; false claims lead to termination along with possible further action.
  • Category (SC/OBC-NCL) once declared in the online application cannot be changed, as well as no benefit of another category will be admissible during the process.
  • Email ID as well as mobile number provided must remain active until the recruitment process is entire; the email ID cannot be changed once entered. All correspondence is via email only.
  • Any canvassing, direct or indirect, disqualifies the candidature. Legal jurisdiction for any dispute is Kolkata only.
