SSC SI CAPF Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
  • For the post of SI in Delhi Police, male applicants must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle along with Car) on the date fixed for the Physical Endurance along with Measurement Test (PE&MT). Male test-takers without a valid LMV licence are meeting criteria only for SI posts in CAPFs, not Delhi Police.
SSC SI CAPF Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
  • Age is reckoned as on the crucial date, 01.08.2026.
  • All posts except SI (Fire) in CISF: 20–25 years (born not earlier than 02.08.2001 along with not later than 01.08.2006).
  • SI (Fire) in CISF: 18–30 years (born not earlier than 02.08.1996 as well as not later than 01.08.2008).

SSC SI CAPF Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

  • Registration form Correction Window (08.10.2026 to 10.10.2026) charges: ₹200 for the first correction, ₹500 for the second correction - applicable to all applicants regardless of gender/category.
SSC SI CAPF Recruitment 2026 Selection Process / Scheme of Examination
  • The examination consists of four mandatory stages: Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, in addition to Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
Paper-II
  • Questions in both papers are Objective Multiple Choice Type, set in Hindi as well as English (Parts I–III). Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer in Paper-I, 0.50 marks per wrong answer in Paper-II. Difficulty level of Paper-II is higher than Paper-I. Physical Standard Test (PST) – Height & Chest Norms

Document Verification
  • Document Verification is conducted by the CAPFs before final result declaration, preferably alongside the DME/RME stage. test-takers must bring two passport-size colour photographs, one original valid Photo ID proof, as well as originals plus copies of: Matriculation/Secondary Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, equivalence order/letter (if applicable), Caste/Category Certificate (if reserved category), Driving Licence (for Delhi Police male test-takers), in addition to Ex-Servicemen undertaking/certificates (if applicable).

How to Apply for SSC SI CAPF Recruitment 2026
  • Full One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSC website, https://ssc.gov.in. OTR generated on the old website (ssc.nic.in) will not work on the new website.
  • Log in using your Registration Number along with Password, then click ' send in' against the SSC SI in Delhi Police along with CAPFs Examination, 2026.
  • Fill in the Online Online form either on the SSC website or via the 'mySSC' mobile application (available on Google Play Store).
  • It is informed that, aspirants are advised to opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication while completing OTR, which exempts them from photo/signature rejection on format grounds along with from producing colour photographs/photo-ID at the exam venue.
  • Capture a live photograph as prompted by the application (no pre-existing photo upload) with good light, plain background, no cap/mask/glasses.
  • Upload scanned signature in JPEG format (10–20 KB, approx. 6.0 cm width x 2.0 cm height).
  • Use the Preview/Print option to confirm all details before final submission.
  • Pay the application fee of ₹100 online (if not exempted) through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or RuPay Debit card.
  • The conducting body has announced that, Submit the application before 30.09.2026 (23:00 hrs) in addition to full fee payment before 01.10.2026 (23:00 hrs).
SSC SI CAPF Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions
  • A candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan.
  • The Commission neither collects posts nor allocates applicants state-wise, region-wise, zone-wise or city-wise for this examination.

  • The conducting body has announced that, Applications with incomplete fee payment status will be summarily rejected.
  • The official notification states that, After the correction window closes, no further change/correction/modification will be allowed under any circumstances.
  • Candidates should note that, applicants have the option to choose three examination centres (in order of priority) within the same SSC region; no request for centre change will be entertained later.
  • The conducting body has announced that, Marks in multi-shift Computer Based Examinations will be normalized as stated in the Commission's published procedure.
  • There is no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of scores.
  • Success in the examination confers no right to appointment unless the Commission is satisfied, after such enquiry as considered necessary, that the candidate is suitable in all respects.
