- \A total of 2 openings are available - 1 for Senior Pavement Design cum Material Expert in addition to 1 for Quantity Surveyor (QS).
NHAI Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- The conducting body has announced that, Senior Pavement Design cum Material Expert: Essential: Graduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- Desirable: Postgraduate (ME/M Tech) in Highway/ Pavement or other related field from a recognized University/Institute.
- Desirable: PhD in Pavement/Highway engineering or other related field.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience in highway projects. Experience in pavement forensic investigation along with failure analysis specifically in pavement design, construction, quality assurance, maintenance as well as pavement management. Hand-on experience in Pavement Design as well as in life cycle costing under IRC 37/IRC 58, along with other international codes in addition to Design Software. Implementation of performance-graded binders/ modified bitumen, recycling technologies along with innovative pavement technologies such as Geosynthetics, WMA etc.
- Essential: Graduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent / Certificate course from 'Institution of Quantity Surveying'.
- The department has confirmed that, Experience: Minimum 08 years' Experience in Quantity estimation, Preparation of Bill of Quantities, rate analysis, Payment Schedules of Contract Documents for National Highways or major highway projects involving major bridges / structures /tunnels.
NHAI Recruitment 2026 - Age Limit
- Senior Pavement Design cum Material Expert: Maximum 65 years.
- The department has confirmed that, Quantity Surveyor (QS): Maximum 45 years.
