- Manager (Legal): Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognised University or Institute.
- Desirable: Degree in Civil Engineering.
- The official notification states that, Three years post qualification experience, in the field of law related to contractual matters or arbitration or legislative matters or land acquisition.
- Master's degree in Library Science from a recognised University or Institute.
- Five years experience in a Library under Central or State Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisation or PSU or University or Recognised Research or Educational Institution.

- Manager (Legal): Not exceeding 56 years. test-takers should have more than two years of remaining service as on closing date.
