GSSSB Occupational Therapist Exam Pattern 2026
  • The written competitive exam is divided into Part A as well as Part B, each carrying its own weightage. There is no mention of separate CBT/CBAT-style stages in this notification - both parts appear to be part of the same paper.
  • Part A Assessment pattern (90 Marks)

  • Anatomy (2 Marks): General Anatomy, Connective Tissue, Cartilage, bone, Joints, Embryology; Regional Anatomy - Lower Limb, Thorax, Cranial Nerves
  • General Physiology (1 Mark): Cell in addition to tissue, Body Fluid, Cardio-Vascular System, Respiratory System, Digestive System, Reproductive System, Endocrine System, Excretory System, Skin Structure & Functions
  • (B) Fundamentals of Occupational Therapy (6 Marks)
  • Principles & techniques of Therapeutic Exercise as well as its relation with development of therapeutic activities

How to Prepare for GSSSB Occupational Therapist Exam 2026
  • Start with the departmental syllabus in addition to mark each Part A as well as Part B topic as you cover it, rather than relying on generic study material.
  • Give Part B extra study time since it carries 120 of the 210 total marks - focus first on high-weightage subjects like Occupational Therapy in Medical Conditions (13 marks), Occupational Therapy & Industrial Rehabilitation (12 marks), in addition to Neurological & Developmental Conditions (11 marks).
