  • positions are distributed project-wise (Pariyojna-wise) across 5 Child Development Project areas of Gautam Buddha Nagar district, with category-wise reservation for each post.
Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) - Project-wise Vacancy
  • Combined Grand Total: 267 posts (84 Anganwadi Karyakatri + 183 Anganwadi Sahayika). The number of vacant posts may increase or decrease.   • Only women (female) applicants are shortlisted to send in for the advertised posts.
  • Aspirants are advised that, Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification for both Anganwadi Karyakatri in addition to Sahayika posts is Intermediate (12th pass) or its equivalent, up to a maximum of Postgraduate.   • Residency: The applicant must be a resident of the Gram Sabha (for rural areas) or of the same Ward (for urban areas) where the vacant post is located. If an eligible candidate is not available within the Gram Sabha, selection will be made from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat as per seniority.
Special Category Provisions
  • Widows: A death certificate along with a certified copy of the family register (Parivar Panjika) issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay will be considered valid proof.
  • Divorced/Abandoned (Parityakta) women: Only a legal order issued by the Hon'ble Court will be considered valid.
  • Income Certificate: Only an income certificate issued by the competent authority as per UP Government Revenue Section-9 order No. 3959/1-9-11-A0-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended), which is verifiable online, will be considered valid.

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 35 years
  • Cut-off date for determining age: 01.07.2026
  • Only the High School (10th) marksheet in addition to certificate will be considered valid proof of age for Anganwadi Karyakatri along with Sahayika posts.

Gautam Buddha Nagar Anganwadi Bharti 2026-27 Selection Process
  • Selection for vacant Anganwadi Karyakatri/Sahayika posts will be conducted entirely online through the portal, as stated in the guidelines set out in the Government Order. No written examination or interview will be conducted.
  • Candidates should note that, Selection will first be made from among shortlisted aspirants below the poverty line (BPL), as per seniority within the age limit. If shortlisted BPL applicants are not available, selection will proceed to aspirants above the poverty line, as per seniority.
  • The official notification states that, Merit will be determined based on educational qualification, ranging from Intermediate to Postgraduate.
  • Residency in the relevant Gram Sabha/Ward is a mandatory criteria condition; in its absence within the Gram Sabha, applicants from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat will be considered as per seniority.
  • Two women belonging to the same family will not be appointed to Anganwadi Karyakatri/Sahayika posts at the same centre.
  • If an error is found in the application, or if any data/marks/educational documents submitted are found to be incorrect or fabricated, the candidature will be rejected.
How to Apply for Gautam Buddha Nagar Anganwadi Bharti 2026-27
  • Go to the departmental website, http://upanganwadibharti.in.
  • Register along with fill the online application document with all required personal, educational, residency, along with category details.
  • According to the latest notice, Upload self-attested, clear along with legible scanned copies of all documents mentioned in the online form.
  • Ensure the Residence Certificate is issued with the digital signature of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, as well as the Income in addition to Caste Certificates are issued with the digital signature of the Tehsildar - these documents must be verifiable through the e-District portal.
