Gautam Buddha Nagar Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 267 Anganwadi Worker & Helper Posts

The Office of the District Programme Officer, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, has issued a Press Notice (Letter No. C/530/Ji0Ka0A0/AWKa0/Saha0Chayan Bharti/2026-27, dated 07.09.2026) inviting online applications from eligible women candidates for direct recruitment to vacant, honorarium-based (contract) posts of Anganwadi Karyakatri (Worker) and Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) under the Child Development Projects (Baal Vikas Pariyojna) operating in the urban and rural areas of Gautam Buddha Nagar district, as per Government Order No. 2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025.

Only women (female) candidates are eligible to apply for the advertised posts. | Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification for both Anganwadi Karyakatri and Sahayika posts is Intermediate (12th pass) or its equivalent, up to a maximum of Postgraduate. Merit will be determined based on qualification level from Intermediate to Postgraduate. | Residency: The applicant must be a resident of the Gram Sabha (for rural areas) or of the same Ward (for urban areas) where the vacant post is located. If an eligible candidate is not available within the Gram Sabha, selection will be made from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat as per seniority. | Widows: A death certificate and a certified copy of the family register (Parivar Panjika) issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay will be considered valid proof. | Divorced/Abandoned (Parityakta) women: Only a legal order issued by the Hon'ble Court will be considered valid. | Income Certificate: Only an income certificate issued by the competent authority as per UP Government Revenue Section-9 order No. 3959/1-9-11-A0-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended), which is verifiable online, will be considered valid.

Minimum age: 18 years Maximum age: 35 years Cut-off date for determining age: 01.07.2026 Only the High School (10th) marksheet and certificate will be considered valid proof of age for Anganwadi Karyakatri and Sahayika posts.

1. Selection for vacant Anganwadi Karyakatri/Sahayika posts will be conducted entirely online through the portal, as per the guidelines set out in the Government Order. No written examination or interview will be conducted.
2. Selection will first be made from among eligible candidates below the poverty line (BPL), as per seniority within the age limit. If eligible BPL candidates are not available, selection will proceed to candidates above the poverty line, as per seniority.
3. Merit will be determined based on educational qualification, ranging from Intermediate to Postgraduate.
4. Residency in the relevant Gram Sabha/Ward is a mandatory eligibility condition; in its absence within the Gram Sabha, candidates from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat will be considered as per seniority.
5. Two women belonging to the same family will not be appointed to Anganwadi Karyakatri/Sahayika posts at the same centre.
6. If an error is found in the application, or if any data/marks/educational documents submitted are found to be incorrect or fabricated, the candidature will be rejected.
