  • The post table on pages 1 to 3 of the notification provides the department-wise along with category-wise distribution. The advertised positions are provisional along with may increase or decrease according to teaching in addition to patient-care requirements.
Educational Qualification
  • The educational qualifications for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor as well as Senior Resident posts will be governed by the National Medical Commission guidelines dated 30 June 2025.
  • test-takers should possess the applicable MBBS in addition to postgraduate medical qualifications, such as MD, MS, DNB or another recognized qualification, for the relevant department. Applicants must additionally have updated registration with the National Medical Commission or the appropriate State Medical Council.
Age Limit
  • The 50-year limit applies to Senior Resident posts in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine as well as Community Medicine. Application Fee
  • The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ESIC Saving Fund Account No. 2 , payable at Namkum. The fee is non-refundable. The Demand Draft must be submitted with the application document.

Contract Conditions
  • The initial contract period is one year.
  • The contract may be extended annually for up to three years based on satisfactory performance.
  • The department has confirmed that, The appointment may end earlier if a regular employee joins the post.
  • The maximum engagement may continue only until the candidate reaches 70 years of age.
  • Shortlisted aspirants must deposit a refundable security amount of ₹30,000 at the time of joining.
  • Private medical practice is strictly prohibited.
  • It is informed that, No accommodation will be provided.
  • The appointment does not provide a right to regularization.
  • Shortlisted aspirants must execute an agreement on ₹100 non-judicial stamp paper.
Important Instructions
  • The official notification states that, Applications received after 21 September 2026 will not be considered.
  • A separate application must be submitted for every post applied for.
  • Incomplete applications or applications submitted in another format will be rejected.
  • test-takers working in Government, autonomous or statutory institutions should preferably produce an NOC during the interview.
  • No travelling allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending the interview.
  • EWS certificates must relate to the financial year 2025–26 as well as must have been issued on or after 1 April 2026.
  • OBC aspirants must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate in the prescribed Central Government format.
