ECR GDCE Vacancy 2026
- The notification includes 1,465 posts under 24 post categories. The post-wise post distribution is mentioned below.
Who Can Apply?
- The applicant must be a regular employee of East Central Railway or Rail Wheel Plant, Bela.
- Aspirants are advised that, There is no minimum service requirement.
- Employees who have resigned or transferred from East Central Railway are not shortlisted .
- As per the official update, RPF as well as RPSF personnel cannot submit under this GDCE notification.
- Employees cannot send in for the same post on which they are presently working.
- The applicant must possess the required qualification by 15 October 2026.
- The qualification must be recorded in the employee’s service register.
Educational Qualification
- The 50% marks requirement for Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk will not send in to SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, ex-servicemen as well as test-takers possessing a qualification higher than Class 12.

ECR GDCE Age Limit

Minimum Qualifying Marks
- For the aptitude test, test-takers must obtain a minimum T-score of 42 in each test battery. No category-based relaxation is allowed in this requirement.
Senior Clerk Typing Test
- test-takers appearing for the Senior Clerk post must achieve either of the following typing speeds on a computer:
- 30 words per minute in English; or
- 25 words per minute in Hindi.
- Interested applicants should know that, The typing test is qualifying in nature. Its marks will not be added while preparing the merit list.
