The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (Arunachal Pradesh PSC) Recruitment 2026 for posts of 37 Group-A & Group-B. The candidate shall send in online through Arunachal Pradesh PSC website, appsc.gov.in. test-takers with B.B.A, B.Com, LLB Can send in Online. APPSC Vacancy 2026 – Post-Wise Details
  • There are 37 total positions across 4 posts. The number of openings is based on the Proforma of Requisition submitted by the concerned departments in addition to may change.
  • Out of the 7 Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer posts, 1 is reserved for PwBD applicants under the Deaf & Hard of Hearing/Partially Deaf category. This opening count as well excludes 2 Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer posts covered under a pending writ petition, WP(C) No. 549/2025.
APPSC Qualification
  • test-takers appearing in the final semester examination of the qualifying course for Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer or Sub-Treasury Officer may as well register , yet must submit proof of having passed the qualifying exam in original on or before the date of interview fixed by the Commission, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview. For Assistant Director (Prosecution) along with Assistant Public Prosecutor, applicants must mandatorily submit their 7-year experience certificate (or the Magistrate's appointment order, as applicable) while filling the online application, failing which their candidature will be rejected.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria (All Posts)
  • Permanent Residence: Must be a citizen of India in addition to an inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
  • Indigenous Status: Must be an original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh as well as hold an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate
  • Indigenous Tribal Language Proficiency: Must be able to speak an Indigenous Tribal Language of Arunachal Pradesh as well as possess working knowledge of the local indigenous tribes
APPSC Group A B Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
  • test-takers must be not less than 21 years in addition to not more than 35 years of age as on the deadline of receipt of the online application document, i.e., 12 October 2026.
  • The date of birth accepted will be according to the Matriculation Certificate issued by a recognized Board; no other documents relating to age (horoscope, affidavits, etc.) will be accepted.

  • Aspirants are advised that, Test-takers are required to pay a fee of ₹200/- through online mode only. PwBD test-takers are exempted from payment of the application fee as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018.
APPSC Group A B Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
  • meeting criteria applicants appear in a Written Examination according to the notified Scheme of Examination.
  • The Concerned Subject for Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer as well as Sub-Treasury Officer is any one of Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics (Paper-I in addition to Paper-II). For Assistant Director (Prosecution) as well as Assistant Public Prosecutor, Paper-I covers Core Criminal Laws as well as Paper-II covers Constitutional Law along with Other Special Legislations.
  • To qualify for the viva-voce, a candidate must score an aggregate of 33% of total marks in the written examination, with at least 20% in each paper/subject. PwBD aspirants must score an aggregate of 20%, with at least 10% in each paper/subject. Around 3 times the number of advertised posts are called for interview.
Recruitment Test (Objective Type) - If Applicant Numbers Exceed the Requisite Ratio
  • This Recruitment Test serves only as a Screening Test - marks obtained in it are not counted toward the final merit. Of the eligible test-takers, 12 times the number of advertised posts (or as decided by the Commission) are admitted to the Written Examination.
How to Apply for APPSC Group A B Recruitment 2026
  • Register for One Time Registration (OTR) on the APPSC website, if not already registered
  • Aspirants are advised that, Already-registered test-takers can directly log in using their existing User ID along with password
  • As per the official update, send in online at appsc.gov.in between 21 September 2026 (5:00 PM) along with 12 October 2026 (5:00 PM)
  • Carefully fill in the requisite details in addition to upload the required scanned documents (signature, photograph, photo ID, APST Certificate, PRC, Bachelor's Degree certificate, all-semester mark-sheets, along with relevant experience certificates)
  • Aspirants are advised that, Submit only a single application - if multiple applications are submitted due to unavoidable circumstances, only the one with the highest Registration ID (RID) will be accepted, as well as fees paid against other RIDs will not be adjusted
  • Carefully review the Disclaimer in the online application document before final submission, as no additional time will be given for further changes after submission

  • Admission at all stages of examination (Recruitment Test, Written Examination, or Viva-Voce) is purely provisional; any information found wrong at any stage leads to cancellation of candidature
  • aspirants are solely responsible for proving their requirements with respect to the advertised qualification criteria
  • According to the latest notice, If found ineligible during verification prior to interview, a candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview even if an examination permit has been issued
  • PwBD test-takers in the Blindness, Locomotor disability (Both Arms affected), along with Cerebral Palsy categories can avail the Scribe facility; other PwBD categories must submit a certificate of physical limitation from a Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent
  • PwBD test-takers must submit a disability certificate issued by an authorized medical board as per Section 57 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, issued before the deadline of application (12 October 2026)
  • Government employees seeking age relaxation must submit their Appointment Order as proof of 3 years of continuous regular service, along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Department
  • The department has confirmed that, eligible test-takers must produce all required documents in original at the time of document verification, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview/viva-voce
  • The candidature of a candidate at any stage is provisional as well as subject to the outcome of any Court of Law direction/decision/order
  • The decision of the Commission regarding qualification , admission, or selection is final, as well as no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained
