As per a 2015 Government Order (as amended), the annual income limit is Rs 46,080 for rural areas and Rs 56,460 for urban areas. | Income, residence, and caste certificates will be valid only if issued in the name of the applicant concerned. | An income certificate is valid only if issued within 3 years prior to the date of publication of this notification. A BPL-category income certificate issued more than 3 years earlier will be treated as valid only under the APL category.
