The applicant must currently be a regular or permanent employee of a Central Government, State Government department, corporation, or public sector undertaking, already holding a post in the same grade pay as the post applied for. | The applicant must have experience working in an engineering post and completed 3 years of continuous, satisfactory service in that department. | There must be no pending departmental disciplinary or vigilance inquiry against the applicant. | Employees of local bodies (स्थानीय निकाय) are not eligible and their applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
