Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Hindi Officer Notification 2026 has been released on 23 September 2026 on the official website www.ibps.in.

Hindi (major/elective) with English as major or elective at graduation, OR | English (major/elective) with Hindi as major or elective at graduation, OR | Any subject other than Hindi/English, with Hindi as major/elective and English as medium of examination at degree level, OR | Any subject other than Hindi/English, with English as major/elective and Hindi as medium of examination at degree level | One year of experience in translation work from English to Hindi and vice-versa (reports/documents/letters) in a bank/financial institution is desirable, not mandatory. | Competency in operating a computer is mandatory - candidates must be able to type/create translated documents in MS Word and Excel in Hindi and English. | Exposure or experience in developing AI-based tools for translation is an added qualification. | Integrity should not have been doubtful during service/career | No punishment/penalty during service/career | No pending CBI or law enforcement cases | Good knowledge of MS Office is necessary | Not open to internal candidates (regular or contractual)

As on 01.09.2026 : Minimum 23 years, Maximum 30 years - i.e., candidates must be born not earlier than 02.09.1996 and not later than 01.09.2003 (both dates inclusive). Service Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service bond of ₹2 lakhs and serve a minimum of 3 years, or pay ₹2 lakhs to IBPS.
