CSL PMIS Internship 2026 - Apply Online for 227 Seats Under PM Internship Scheme

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Schedule 'A' Company under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, has released a notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as interns under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS). The internship is for a duration of Nine (9) months, with a total of 227 seats available across ITI Trades, SSLC, HSE/ITI, Diploma, Graduation, and Post Graduation categories. Applications must be submitted online through the official PMIS Portal.

Eligibility varies by category, based on the educational qualification corresponding to each set of trades/disciplines listed above. Category Corresponds To Educational Qualification I(A) ITI Trades Pass in Xth standard AND Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC) I(B) SSLC Pass in Xth standard I(C) HSE/ITI Pass in XIIth standard / ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC) I(D) Diploma A Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline, granted by a State Council/Board of Technical Education, a University, or an institution recognized as equivalent by the State or Central Government I(E) Graduation Graduation (other than performing arts/B.Tech) - BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BCA, etc. I(F) Post Graduation MA Hindi/MA Hindi with Translation Age Limit: 18 to 25 years, applicable across all categories. 18–25 years

₹11,000/month or ₹13,000/month, depending on category (including DBT by Govt. of India)

1. Shortlisting of candidates will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade/discipline.
2. In case two or more candidates secure the same percentage of marks, relative merit will be decided based on seniority in age.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be issued an offer of Internship Training through the PMIS portal and must appear for certificate verification on the date mentioned in the offer letter.
4. Certificate verification requires original certificates for proof of age, qualification, caste, and disability (if any), along with self-attested copies of the same.
5. On successful completion of certificate verification, candidates will be provisionally inducted for internship training, subject to medical fitness.
