  • The Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Seva Chayan Ayog (UPESSC), Prayagraj has declared the UP TGT Result 2026 on 28 July 2026 for Advertisement No. 01/2022. The result has been made known for 2,982 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts across 14 subjects, while the English subject result (557 posts) has been withheld due to a pending case before the Allahabad High Court. test-takers can now verify their result, cutoff marks, along with qualifying status through the government UPESSC website using their login credentials.

Why Is the UP TGT English Result Not Declared?
  • The final selection result for Trained Graduate English (557 advertised posts) has not been declared along with the other 14 subjects. According to the departmental circular, this is as a writ petition ( No. 9799/2026 ) challenging the final answer key for the English subject is currently pending before the Allahabad High Court. UPESSC has stated the English result will remain on hold until the matter is resolved. No date for the English result is now live.
How to Check UP TGT Result 2026
  • According to the latest notice, Access the departmental UPESSC website: upessc.up.gov.in
  • Look for the link related to the UP TGT Advt No. 01/2022 result or cutoff marks.
  • As per the official update, Enter your roll number in addition to date of birth as required.
  • Aspirants are advised that, Your result/marks will be displayed on screen.
  • Save or note down the details for future reference, as the link is available only for a limited period.
  • Source-link note: The department notice names upessc.up.gov.in as the website where the result as well as cutoff marks are published. UP TGT Result 2026: Category-Wise Cutoff Marks

Important Instructions
  • The cutoff marks as well as written-exam scores are available on the department website for one week only from the date of declaration - aspirants should review in addition to save their details promptly.
  • No separate application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 will be accepted for cutoff or marks-related information; this data is already published on the government webpage.
  • As per the official update, The result for TGT English (557 posts) is on hold due to pending litigation along with is not part of this declared result.
  • Institution allotment will follow the preference-based process under Rule 12(10) as well as will be made available separately.
