Gorakhpur Anganwadi Sahayika Vacancy 2026
- A total of 207 Anganwadi Sahayika posts have been notified. The project-wise along with category-wise post distribution is listed below.
- The Gram Panchayat, ward-wise reservation in addition to requirements details are available on the government recruitment portal.
Educational Qualification
- aspirants must have passed the Intermediate examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board or institution.
- The official notification states that, If more than one shortlisted candidate is available in the same category, a merit list will be prepared according to the selection rules mentioned in the government order.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Aspirants are advised that, Maximum age: 35 years
- Age calculation date: 1 July 2026
- The date of birth recorded in the candidate’s High School certificate will be treated as valid proof of age.
Residence Requirement

- For a rural position , the candidate must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha.
- For an urban post , the candidate must be a resident of the same ward.
- Interested applicants should know that, If no meeting criteria candidate is available in a category within the concerned Gram Sabha, selection may be made category-wise from the related Nyaya Panchayat according to the applicable rules.
Income Eligibility
- The authorized notice mentions the following annual family-income limits:
- The income certificate must be issued by an officer not below the level of Tehsildar. Any revised Uttar Pradesh Government rules issued in the future will send in.
