- There are 87 municipalities (11 Municipal Corporations, 25 Municipal Councils, along with 51 Municipal Committees) under the supervision of the Urban Local Bodies Department in Haryana, entrusted with providing civic amenities to the state's urban population. To strengthen taxation along with sanitation functions in these municipalities, the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Haryana, intends to engage Taxation Experts, Taxation Associates, along with Sanitation Experts/Associates having the requisite qualification in addition to experience, on contract basis, initially for one year as well as further extendable up to three years.
