SSB Constable GD Sports Quota Vacancy Details 2026
- A total of 404 positions have been published discipline-wise for Constable (GD) under Sports Quota. The detailed post position is as under:
- The official notification states that, Note: DG, SSB reserves the right to increase/decrease or cancel any openings without assigning any reason.
SSB Constable GD Sports Quota Eligibility Criteria
- test-takers must fulfill the following requirements conditions as on the deadline of receipt of applications:
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institute.
- Sports Qualification (Order of Preference):
- Represented India in International competitions, OR
- Medal winners in Senior/Junior National Championships, OR
- The conducting body has announced that, Medal winners in Khelo India Youth/University/Winter/Para Games, OR
- Medal winners in SGFI, OR
- Represented University in Inter-University Tournaments, OR
- The department has confirmed that, Represented State School Teams in National School Games.
- Note: Sports achievements of only last 02 years (as on cut-off date) will be considered.
SSB Constable GD Sports Quota Age Limit
- Candidates should note that, Age Limit: 18 to 23 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
SSB Constable GD Sports Quota Selection Process
- The selection will be conducted in Two Stages:
- Stage-I (Priority test-takers - International & National Medal Winners upto 3rd Place):
- Documentation
- Checking of Sports Achievements (Marks based on medals/participation)
- According to the latest notice, Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
- Candidates should note that, Review Medical Examination (RME) if required
- Stage-II (Remaining test-takers, if positions remain unfilled):
- Documentation
- Field Trial / Skill Test (50 marks, minimum 60% qualifying)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)

- Aspirants are advised that, Physical Standard Test (PST) Requirements:
- Weight: BMI should be between 18-25.
- Final Merit: Based on Sports Achievement marks + Field Trial (where applicable) + Medical Fitness.
