  • A total of 20 positions have been published for the post of Assistant Officer (Environment Management) at Grade E0. These are distributed across UR, EWS, OBC, SC, in addition to ST categories. Reservation for PwBD applicants is as per Govt. Guidelines. The total number of projected posts indicated may increase/decrease as per organizational requirement at the discretion of NTPC management.
  • Candidates should note that, Identified type of disabilities for the post: (a) B, LV (b) D, HH (c) OA, OL, LC, Dw, AAV (d) ASD (M), SLD, MI (e) MD involving (a) to (d) above.
NTPC Assistant Officer (Environment Management) Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
  • All qualifications should be full-time from Universities/Institutions recognized in addition to approved in India. SC/ST/PwBD aspirants with at least 55% marks in required qualification are eligible to register for positions identified for such categories. The category once filled in the online application document cannot be changed as well as no benefit of other category will be admissible later. All computations of age/experience requirement/qualification etc. shall be done with respect to the closing date of receipt of online application.

NTPC Assistant Officer (Environment Management) Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
  • In order to restrict the number of test-takers for further selection procedure, the management reserves the right to conduct a multi-stage hiring procedure which may comprise of application shortlisting/screening (based on qualification/percentage of marks etc.), written/computer-based test, personal interview etc., or combination of the above, or raise the minimum criteria standards/criteria as per requirement. In case of selection by written/computer-based test as well as interview, it shall be based on 85% weightage of online pen- along with -paper exam marks in addition to 15% weightage of interview marks. The candidate must qualify separately in both the online descriptive test in addition to interview. The mere fact that a candidate is fulfilling the minimum requirements criteria would not bestow on them the right to be shortlisted/called for descriptive test/Interview.

  • Graduate Engineering Degree in Environment/PG Degree/PG Diploma/M.Sc./M.Tech in Environment Engineering/Environment Science/Environmental Management/M.Tech with specialisation in Environment Engg/Environment Science/Environmental Management - Final/Provisional Certificate for both Graduation as well as Post Graduation
  • Consolidated Marksheet/Transcript of all semester marksheets clearly indicating aggregate % of marks in all semesters - for both Graduation as well as Post Graduation
  • Marks conversion formula from the university/Institute for conversion of marks in CPGA/CGPI/DGPA/CGI/CPI etc. into percentage (%)
  • Caste/Disability certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/EWS applicants ) as applicable

  • Any proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement can be instituted only in Delhi in addition to courts/tribunals/forums at Delhi only shall have sole along with exclusive jurisdiction.
