The National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (NIT Uttarakhand) Recruitment 2026 for posts of 21 Technician, Junior Assistant as well as More Posts. NIT Uttarakhand Vacancy Details
  • The conducting body has announced that, The number of posts is indicative in addition to may increase or decrease depending on the institute’s requirements.
Superintendent
  • For the prescribed qualification under the Recruitment Rules, test-takers should possess:
  • First Class Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline; or
  • Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including word processing in addition to spreadsheets.
  • Officials applying through deputation must hold an analogous post or have the prescribed regular service in the feeder grade specified in the Recruitment Rules.
Technical Assistant
  • aspirants should possess any one of the following qualifications in the relevant field:
  • First Class B.E., B.Tech. or MCA
  • The conducting body has announced that, First Class Diploma in Engineering
  • The conducting body has announced that, First Class Bachelor’s degree in Science
  • Master’s degree in Science with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade
  • Aspirants are advised that, Deputation applicants must satisfy the analogous-post or feeder-grade service conditions prescribed in the NIT Recruitment Rules.
Technician (Selection Grade-II)
  • The prescribed educational routes include:
  • Senior Secondary/Class 12 with Science as well as at least 60% marks; or
  • According to the latest notice, Senior Secondary/Class 12 with at least 50% marks in addition to a one-year or longer ITI course in the appropriate trade; or
  • Class 10 with at least 60% marks as well as a two-year ITI certificate in the appropriate trade; or
  • As per the official update, Three-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field.
  • Applicants must as well satisfy the applicable experience in addition to feeder-grade conditions for deputation or short-term contract.
Technician
  • It is informed that, applicants should possess any one of the following:
  • Class 12 with Science in addition to at least 60% marks; or
  • Class 12 with at least 50% marks as well as a one-year or longer ITI course in the appropriate trade; or
  • The conducting body has announced that, Class 10 with at least 60% marks along with a two-year ITI certificate in the appropriate trade; or

Junior Assistant
  • applicants should have passed Class 12 from a recognized board along with possess:

  • Proficiency in computer word processing in addition to spreadsheets.
  • Proficiency in other computer skills is desirable.
Age Limit
  • The applicable age limit will depend on the mode of appointment as well as the NIT Recruitment Rules 2019. Age, qualification in addition to experience will be calculated as of 4 November 2026. Relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD along with Ex-servicemen aspirants will be provided according to Government of India rules.
Salary and Pay Level
  • The appointments will initially be for one year along with may be extended according to the institute’s requirements.

Selection Process

Important Instructions
  • Online submission alone is not sufficient; the hard copy must additionally reach the institute before the deadline.
  • Applications received after 11 November 2026 at 5:30 PM will not be considered.
