- The conducting body has announced that, B.E./B. Tech. in Computer Science in addition to Engineering / Information Technology/Electrical/Communication/ Electronics Engineering along with related field with equivalent degree
- MCA or Master's Degree in Geography/GIS/ Remote Sensing/ Geo-Informatics as well as Earth Observation/Earth Sciences or allied studies with Knowledge of the project field.
- Candidate must have obtained at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA out of 10 in UG in addition to PG degree.
