NEIAH Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- Professor (Ayurveda): Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970 (NCISM Act, 2020). Thirteen (13) years combined experience in teaching as Reader/Associate Professor along with Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned subject out of which minimum two years of experience in the Level-12 + NPA or Thirteen (13) years combined Research Experience in equivalent post of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor / Lecturer out of which Two years experience in Level-12 +NPA. Minimum five research publications indexed in index medicus or National Journals. Valid NTET certificate or teacher's code according to the guideline issued by NCISM. Desirable: PhD in Ayurveda.
- Associate Professor (Ayurveda): Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970 (NCISM Act, 2020). Nine (9) years of combined experience in teaching in the Concerned subject as Assistant Professor/ Lecturer out of which three (3) years experience in Level-11+NPA or Nine (9) years combined Research Experience in equivalent post of Assistant Professor/ Lecturer out of which three (3) years experience in Level-11 +NPA. Minimum three research publications indexed in index medicus or National Journals. Valid NTET certificate or teacher's code in line with the guideline issued by NCISM. Desirable: PhD in Ayurveda.
- Professor (Homoeopathy): Post Graduate Degree in Homeopathy in the concerned subject included in the second schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (NCH Act 2020). Thirteen (13) years combined experience in teaching as Reader/Associate Professor along with Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned subject out of which minimum two years of experience in the Level-12 + NPA or Thirteen (13) years combined Research Experience in equivalent post of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor / Lecturer out of which Two years experience in Level-12 +NPA. Minimum five research publications indexed in index medicus or National Journals. Valid NTET certificate or teacher's code in line with the guideline issued by NCH. Desirable: PhD in Homoeopathy.

- Professor (Homoeopathy Allied Subject): Post Graduate Degree in Homeopathy subject included in the 2nd schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (NCH Act 2020) or Post graduate Medical Degree in the concerned subject recognized by the India Medical Council Act, 1956 (NMC Act 2019). Thirteen (13) years combined experience in teaching as Reader/Associate Professor along with Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned subject out of which minimum two years of experience in the Level-12 + NPA or Thirteen (13) years combined Research Experience in equivalent post of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor / Lecturer out of which Two years experience in Level-12 + NPA. - The official notification states that, Obstetrician & Gynecologist: Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject recognized under IMCC Act. Registered with MCI or State Council in a Hospital/ Institute of repute. 7 years experience in the relevant subject after acquiring post Graduate Degree.
- Surgical Specialist: Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970. Registered with MCI or State Council in a Hospital/ Institute of repute. 7 years experience in the relevant subject after acquiring post Graduate Degree.
- As per the official update, Pediatrician: Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject recognized under IMC Act. 7 years experience in the relevant subject after acquiring post Graduate Degree. Registered with MCI or State Council in a Hospital/ Institute of repute.
- Radiologist: Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject recognized under IMC Act. Two (2) years experience in the related field after acquiring post Graduate degree.
NEIAH Recruitment 2026 - Age Limit
- The conducting body has announced that, Maximum Age Limit: 55 years for all posts.
- Candidates should note that, Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD in addition to serving government employees.
