NCRTC Vacancy 2026 Details

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for all posts under both notices is 28 years , as on 10.09.2026.
- Cumulative relaxation for aspirants falling under more than one category is admissible. Ex-servicemen relaxation is furthermore capped at a maximum age of 50 years. NCRTC employees who have completed one year of service as on the date of the notice get age relaxation to the extent of completed years of service, plus relaxation in the Full-Time qualification requirement. However, the maximum upper age of any candidate shall not exceed 50 years, including all possible age relaxations.
- The official notification states that, aspirants from SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories who send in against unreserved posts will not get the benefit of age relaxation or relaxed qualifying marks at any stage of the process.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Salary
- In addition to Basic Pay, shortlisted applicants will receive Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), in addition to Perks as well as Allowances under the Cafeteria Approach, plus other benefits as per extant Company Rules.
NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Selection under both notices follows a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Medical Fitness Test.
- The CBT will have 100 questions for 100 marks; each correct answer carries 1 mark, in addition to there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
- Duration of the CBT is 90 minutes, available in Hindi or English (candidate's choice).

Medical Examination Standards

Expenses for the first medical examination are borne by NCRTC; a second/re-examination, if required, is at the candidate's own expense.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Surety Bond & Employment Terms
- Under Notice 33/2026, the term of contract is 5 years from the date of appointment; these posts are purely on contract basis in addition to do not confer any right to regularization. - Candidates should note that, Selection by NCRTC does not confer any right to appointment.
- Caste, Ex-Servicemen along with EWS certificates must be in the formats prescribed by the Government of India; no other format is acceptable. EWS posts are tentative as well as subject to Government directives/litigation outcomes.
- Request for change of mailing address, email address, or mobile number will not be entertained under any circumstances.
- Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi only.
- Candidates should note that, test-takers must keep a sufficient number of the same photograph used in the application in reserve for future use.
