- Candidates should note that, A total of 4 positions are available for Junior Research Fellow.
NCPOR Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- It is informed that, Junior Research Fellow (JRF-01 to 03): Master's degree in Geophysics/ Marine Geophysics/ Applied Geology/ Applied Geophysics/ Marine Geophysics or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
- It is informed that, CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / Ph. D Only or GATE chosen.
- Work/ research experience in the field of marine geological/ geophysical data analysis. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Fortran / Python / C++ / MATLAB etc.
- The conducting body has announced that, Master's degree in Marine Science/ Oceanography/ Physical Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Oceanography/ Physical Oceanography or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology in the relevant subject from a recognized university or equivalent with at least 60% marks.
- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / Ph. D Only or GATE shortlisted.
- Aspirants are advised that, Experience in Oceanographic as well as atmospheric data analysis in addition to numerical modelling. Experience in programming such as MATLAB/ Python/ FERRET etc.
- Master's degree in Chemistry/ Marine Chemistry/ Chemical Oceanography / Marine Sciences/ Hydrochemistry/ Environmental Sciences or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / Ph. D Only or GATE shortlisted.
- Work/ research experience in the field of chemical oceanography, marine sciences along with marine chemistry / geochemistry. Hands-on experience with sample preparation as well as analysis of seawater for chemical composition, including Nutrients, dissolved trace gases, trace metals, along with their isotopes.
