The Department of Women, Child, Disabled along with Senior Citizens Welfare, Narayanpet District, Telangana, has officially issued Notification No. chosen local women test-takers can submit their applications online from 15 September 2026 to 30 September 2026, up to 5:00 PM. applicants are strongly advised to read the full notification carefully before applying. 740/AR/2026 dated 11 September 2026 for the recruitment of Anganwadi Teacher along with Anganwadi Helper posts. Narayanpet ICDS Anganwadi Vacancy Details 2026

A total of 65 posts are being filled across the three ICDS projects of Narayanpet district. All 34 Anganwadi Helper posts listed in the notification are specifically for aspirants from tribal (Girijan) areas.

Narayanpet Anganwadi Qualification

test-takers applying for Anganwadi Teacher as well as Anganwadi Helper posts must have passed Intermediate (12th class) as the mandatory educational qualification. For the Anganwadi Helper post specifically, if no candidate with Intermediate/12th class qualification is available in a given area, a candidate with a lower qualification (SSC) will be considered for selection.

Reservation and ST Roster Rules

Every Anganwadi Centre reserved under the ST roster has been categorised project-wise into ST Group-1, ST Group-II, or ST Group-III. eligible aspirants belonging to the allotted group are given first preference. If applicants are not available within the allotted group, the post is filled with aspirants from other ST sub-categories according to the applicable reservation rules. For Anganwadi Teacher posts allocated to the ST category under the ST Sub-Plan, ST aspirants from the same village/Gram Panchayat (or the same ward, in municipal areas) are meeting criteria .

Reservation for Persons with Disabilities

It is informed that, While considering persons with disabilities for Anganwadi Teacher selection, the guidelines issued vide G.O.Ms.No.39, dated 6 September 2011, by the Department of Women, Child, Disabled as well as Senior Citizens Welfare will be followed.
