- The shortlisted test-takers have been notified post-wise in separate annexures within the departmental PDF:
How to Check Your Name in the JKSSB PST/PET Shortlist 2026
- The official notification states that, Go to the authorized JKSSB website at jkssb.nic.in , or use the direct PDF link listed below.
- Open the notice titled for shortlisting of aspirants for PST/PET for Inspector (FPF), Wildlife Guard, FPF Guard, Field Assistant along with Social Forestry Worker.
- As per the official update, Identify the annexure that corresponds to the post you applied for (A to G as listed above).
- Use Ctrl+F (or the search function in your PDF reader) to search for your roll number or name.
- obtain in addition to save the PDF, or note your roll number's presence, for your records.
- Candidates should note that, If your application was for more than one post, furthermore verify Annexure "F" to confirm your applications have been clubbed correctly.
Documents Required for JKSSB PST/PET 2026
- Aspirants are advised that, Entry pass for the PST/PET
- It is informed that, One original photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, or equivalent)
- Interested applicants should know that, One copy of supporting proof for any PST/PET deficiency related to qualification , if applicable
Important Instructions
- Being shortlisted for the PST/PET does not confer any right to final selection. aspirants must still fulfil all prescribed requirements conditions, in addition to the Board's decision is final.
- The PST/PET is of a qualifying nature only.
- applicants who fail to appear for the PST/PET on the given date as well as time will forfeit their right to be considered at further stages of selection.
- test-takers must report to the JKSSB office Muthi, Akhnoor Road, Jammu, or Zam Zam Complex, Rambagh, Srinagar between 10 August 2026 as well as 14 August 2026, during office hours, in case of any deficiency with reference to criteria .
- According to the latest notice, Test-takers whose applications for more than one post have been clubbed under Annexure "F" must report any discrepancy in clubbing during the same window (10–14 August 2026). Requests made after this period will not be entertained.
- Candidates should note that, Any candidate found indulging in impersonation, making false statements, suppressing material information, or resorting to unfair means will be liable for criminal prosecution, debarment from recruitment, as well as cancellation of candidature.
- Requests for a change of PST/PET venue received after the stipulated date/time will not be entertained.
