IIA Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- Project Trainee (Mechanical): BE/B.Tech/M.Sc in Mechanical/Production/Aerospace with 60% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade from the recognized University/Institution under UGC or Central or State Governments. Knowledge in addition to experience in Manufacturing processes, Engineering drawings along with GD&T basics, Design using CAD tools, Manufacturing processes along with inspection methods, Documentation.
- Project Trainee (Optics): BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/ME/M.Tech in Optics/Photonics/Applied Physics with 60% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade from the recognized University /Institution under UGC or Central or State Governments. Knowledge in addition to Experience in Basic optical testing as well as alignment, Optical laboratory instruments, Data recording as well as reporting, Basic programming (Python/Matlab) for analysis.
IIA Recruitment 2026 - Age Limit
- Project Trainee (Mechanical): Maximum age limit is 27 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) in addition to Physically Handicapped aspirants will be as per Govt. of India norms.
- Candidates should note that, Project Trainee (Optics): Maximum age limit is 30 years. of India norms. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) in addition to Physically Handicapped aspirants will be as per Govt.
