IGNCA Vacancy 2026
- IGNCA has declared positions for Project Manager, Project Coordinator along with Assistant posts under the Conservation Division.
Project Manager
- Postgraduate degree in Conservation, Archaeology, Heritage Management or History.
- Candidates should note that, Minimum 5 years of professional experience in conservation as well as management of Ladakhi heritage.
- Candidates should note that, Experience in handling conservation projects related to wall paintings, Thangka paintings, traditional architecture, museum in addition to heritage documentation.
- Age Limit: 40 years.
Project Coordinator
- Candidates should note that, Postgraduate degree in Conservation, Archaeology or Heritage Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heritage conservation projects, documentation, archaeological fieldwork or project coordination.
- Age Limit: 40 years.
Assistant
- Senior Secondary qualification.
- Practical skills in one or more areas including historic textile restoration, book binding, traditional fabrics, Thangka conservation along with preventive conservation.
- Age Limit: 50 years.
IGNCA Recruitment 2026 Contract Period
- The appointment will initially be for a period of one year in addition to may be extended based on project requirements as well as satisfactory performance.
