IFCI Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

As per the official update, Test-takers must possess the prescribed qualification as well as post-qualification experience for the picked position. Qualifications must be obtained from a recognised institution approved by UGC, AICTE, ICAI or another appropriate authority.

Associate Director

applicants should have at least 15 years of experience in Public Sector Banks, the financial sector, consulting or dealing with government departments in addition to ministries. Relevant experience should include credit appraisal, financial modelling, portfolio monitoring along with recovery.

Associate Director - Estates, Services and Administration

test-takers should have at least 15 years of experience in estate management, property along with building maintenance, operation in addition to maintenance of commercial or residential buildings, civil works, electrical installations, vendor management, procurement as well as administrative functions.

Senior Associate

test-takers should have at least six years of post-qualification experience in the financial sector, consulting, credit appraisal, project or financial modelling, portfolio monitoring or recovery actions.

Senior Associate - Technical, Advanced Chemistry Cell

It is informed that, Experience should include Advanced Chemistry Cells, energy storage, battery manufacturing, battery research, electric mobility or similar emerging technologies.

Senior Associate - Credit Risk Management

aspirants should have at least six years of experience in banks, financial institutions, NBFCs or consulting firms in credit risk management, risk modelling, risk policy or Expected Credit Loss computation.

Senior Associate - Credit Monitoring and Recovery

aspirants should have experience in stressed asset resolution, corporate credit, project finance, appraisal, monitoring or recovery in a bank, financial institution, NBFC or consulting firm.

Senior Associate - Estates, Services and Administration

applicants should have experience in property management, building maintenance, civil works, mechanical or electrical systems, vendor management, GeM procurement, administration as well as security management.

Senior Associate - Human Resources

aspirants should have experience in recruitment, performance management, compensation, employee relations, disciplinary matters, labour laws or HR policy implementation.

Senior Associate - Technical, Electronic Component Manufacturing Scheme

test-takers should have experience in electronics or electronic component manufacturing, capital equipment analysis, technical appraisal, plant in addition to machinery verification or consultancy services for the electronics sector.

Senior Associate - Technical, Chemical and Petrochemical Sector

aspirants should have experience in chemical, petrochemical, specialty chemical or process-industry projects, technical appraisal, project implementation, infrastructure monitoring or environmental compliance.

Senior Associate - Technical, Infrastructure Projects

applicants should have experience in infrastructure development, industrial parks, large-scale projects, EPC, PMC, infrastructure consultancy, project appraisal, planning, implementation or monitoring.

IFCI Age Limit 2026

Age will be calculated as of 31 July 2026 . Age relaxation for Persons with Disabilities will be provided according to Government of India guidelines.

IFCI Salary 2026

According to the latest notice, IFCI will provide a market-driven salary . The advertisement states that remuneration will not be a constraint for a suitable candidate.
The post-wise salary amount has not been specified in the departmental circular.

IFCI Application Fee 2026

The conducting body has announced that, The government circular does not specify an application fee.

IFCI Contract Period

The engagement will initially be for three years. The contract may be extended further by mutual agreement between IFCI in addition to the picked candidate.
The shortlisted candidate must execute an indemnity bond with a surety to serve IFCI for at least one year. A candidate resigning before completing one year will have to pay IFCI Rs.1 lakh, in addition to serving the prescribed notice period or paying salary in lieu of notice.

test-takers working in Central Government, State Government, semi-government organisations, autonomous bodies, CPSEs, PSUs or PSEs must provide the following documents if shortlisted for the interview:
No Objection Certificate from the current employer
Vigilance clearance certificate
Certificate confirming that no disciplinary proceedings are pending or contemplated
Integrity certificate

IFCI Job Location

The advertised positions are for the IFCI Head Office in New Delhi. However, picked test-takers may be transferred to any IFCI regional office, subsidiary or associate organisation anywhere in India.
