- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master's Degree in Agriculture / Soil Science/ Agronomy / Forestry / Horticulture / Soil & Water Conservation / Water Resources Management / Land as well as Water Management with 4/5 years of Bachelor degree. Candidate having Master Degree with 3 years of bachelor degree must have NET qualification.
- Young Professional - II (YP-II): Postgraduates in relevant subjects (Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Agronomy / Soil Science / Hydrology / Soil in addition to Water Conservation Engineering / Remote Sensing in addition to GIS) OR Graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences / Engineering / Technology (Agriculture / Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering in addition to allied subjects).
ICAR-IISWC Recruitment 2026 - Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years for men along with 40 years for women for Senior Research Fellow (SRF).
- 21-45 years for Young Professional-II (YP-II), with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per rule; 5 years for SC/ST in addition to 3 years for OBC for YP-II.
