- Indian Air Force (IAF), Headquarters Eastern Air Command, has officially published Advertisement No. 03/2026 for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) under Group 'C' at Air Force Station, Tezpur, Assam. IAF LDC Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- As per the official update, Educational Qualification
- 12th Class pass from a recognized Board.
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute (wpm) in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer. (35 wpm along with 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word. Time allowed: 10 minutes).
- Age Limit
- 18 to 25 years as on the deadline of receipt of application.
- Age Relaxation (as applicable)
- Ex-Servicemen : Period of service in the Armed Forces shall be deducted from actual age. If the resultant age does not exceed the prescribed maximum age by more than 3 years, the candidate shall be deemed to satisfy the age condition.
- SC/ST/OBC aspirants applying against Unreserved (UR) posts are not entitled to any relaxation in age limit, experience, etc.
- Other relaxations as per Government of India rules for meeting criteria categories.
- Nationality
- Only Indian citizens are eligible .
IAF LDC Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
- Scrutiny of Applications – All applications will be scrutinized for age limit, minimum qualification, documents as well as certificates.
- Pen- in addition to-paper exam – Shortlisted applicants will be called for the written examination.
- The conducting body has announced that, Skill Test (Typing Test) – Qualifying in nature only.
- Document Verification – Original certificates along with copies of Annexure to be produced.

- Candidates should note that, meeting criteria applicants must send in offline in the prescribed format (Annexure-I).

- collect / obtain the proforma application document (Annexure-I).
- Fill the form carefully in English or Hindi (typed preferred).
- Paste a recent self-attested passport-size photograph on the form.
- Attach two additional identical passport-size photographs.

- The official notification states that, Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Experience certificate (if any)
