HSPCB Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

Chief Scientific Officer: Full Time Regular Degree in M.Sc. Chemistry/Environmental Science / Micro Biology/ Bio Chemistry/ Bio Technology/ Degree in Chemical Engineering along with working on analogous post in Central Government/ State Government/ Central Pollution Control Board/ State Pollution Control Board as well as Public Sector Undertaking owned by Central/ State Government.
Senior Scientist: Data & Analytics: M.Sc. in Maths / Statistics / Physics /Operational Research with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science in addition to Application or MCA/B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science with Eight years experience as Programmer in Computer in Government Departments or Government Undertakings / Public Limited Company of repute. Expert for Air Quality: PhD degree or its equivalent, fellowship in Air Quality Management. Expert for Water Quality: PhD Degree in Environmental Science/life Science along with allied discipline / Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology / Master Degree in Engineering / Technology with fifteen years of experience. Expert for Waste Management: PhD or its equivalent, fellowship in Waste Management. Expert for Conservation: PhD or its equivalent, fellowship as Conservationist. Expert for Toxicologist: PhD or its equivalent, fellowship in Toxicology.
Environmental Engineer: Masters in Engineering in first division in Civil/Chemical/ Environmental Engineering with at least Seven years' experience OR Regular full time Bachelor in Engineering in first division in Civil/ Environmental / Chemical Engineering with at least Nine years' experience in the Central Pollution Control Board or any equivalent post in Government.
Assistant Environmental Engineer: Bachelor in Engineering in First Division in Civil/ Chemical / Environmental Engineering from recognized university / institute working on equivalent post.
Scientist B: M. in first division in Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences (with degree in Science) / Botany / Micro-Biology / Bio-Chemistry or degree in Chemical Engineering or working on equivalent post. Sc.
Private Secretary: Two years' experience as Personal Assistant
The department has confirmed that, Personal Assistant: Five years' experience as Sr. Scale Stenographer in any department of State Govt.
As per the official update, Senior Scale Stenographer: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university along with working on analogous post in any department of State Govt.
Junior Scale Stenographer: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university in addition to working on analogous post in any department of State Govt.
Steno-typist: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university in addition to working on analogous post in any department of State Govt.
Assistant: Five years' experience on analogous post in any department of State Govt.
Accountant: M. Com. Second division or B. Com. First division with Two years' experience in the Commercial Accounting in Government in addition to working on equivalent post in any Department of State Government
