Qualification for Engineering Branch Departments
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. along with M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch, with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees, as applicable for Assistant Professor qualification.
Qualification for MCA Programme
- Any one of the following:
- Interested applicants should know that, B.E./B.Tech./B.S. along with M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch, with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
- B.E./B.Tech. along with MCA, with First Class or equivalent in any one of the two degrees.
- Graduation of three years' duration with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, along with MCA with First Class or equivalent, along with 2 years of relevant experience after acquiring the MCA degree.
- The conducting body has announced that, The notification does not specify a separate age limit for these posts.
GBPUAT Teaching Personnel Salary / Emoluments 2026
- The official notification states that, The total emoluments in a month shall not exceed:
- Rs. 650/- per hour, OR 30,000/- per month for applicants fulfilling the criteria of Assistant Professor in the concerned discipline, at the rate of Rs.
- A maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month for aspirants possessing a B.Tech. degree with First Division in the concerned discipline, at the rate of Rs. 550/- per hour.
- No TA/DA (travel or dearness allowance) will be paid to aspirants for attending the interview.
How to Apply for GBPUAT College of Technology Teaching Personnel Walk-in Interview 2026
- This is a walk-in interview, not an online application process. shortlisted test-takers must:
- Fill the application in the prescribed format (the government Application document is part of the notification).
- Report in person at the Conference Hall (PCT), College of Technology, GBPUAT, Pantnagar, on 14/08/2026 at 09:00 AM.
- Carry the filled application along with original certificates as well as one set of self-attested photocopies.
- Attend the subject presentation in addition to interview on the same date.
- test-takers belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories must attach a self-attested photocopy of a valid category certificate as well as domicile certificate along with the application.
