ESIC Kollam Recruitment 2026 Overview
- Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has declared Advertisement No. 07/2026 dated 19.08.2026 (File No. 542/A/46/12/06/2008/MHA/Admn-Vol3) inviting eligible doctors for a walk-in interview to fill contractual posts of Super Specialist, Specialist, along with Senior Resident at ESIC Model & Super Specialty Hospital, Asramam, Kollam. The hospital is accredited to conduct in-house DNB training courses in some specialities. In its absence, PG degree or PG diploma holders in Anaesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Critical Care Medicine registered with the Medical Council will be considered.

Other Important Terms & Conditions

- According to the latest notice, The appointing authority reserves the right to cancel the offer/advertisement without assigning any reason.
- On selection, the candidate must enter into an agreement with the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model & Super Specialty Hospital, Kollam, on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 200/-.
- The chosen candidate must submit a security deposit of Rs. 15,000/- as a DD in favour of ESIC Account No. 2, payable at Kollam, at the time of joining; this is refundable after successful completion of the contract along with production of a no-due certificate.
- Chosen Specialists/Super Specialists must have a professional indemnity policy covering the period of contractual engagement, submitted within 7 days of engagement. Minimum sum assured: Rs. 30 lakh for Anaesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, etc.; Rs. 20 lakh for General Surgeons, Gynaecologists, Obstetricians, etc.; in addition to at least Rs. 10 lakh for Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists, etc.
- The department has confirmed that, test-takers working in Central/State Government institutions must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current authority as well as submit it in due course.
- Part-time engagement of one contractual employee in two ESIC hospitals at the same time is not permissible.
