Interview Venues
- The hiring procedure will be carried out at EIL offices in Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, in addition to Vadodara , applicable to all three position codes (A, B along with C). The exact date, time, along with venue will be communicated individually to chosen , registered aspirants .

- Consolidated monthly remuneration, inclusive of HRA as well as PF.

EIL Associate Engineer Selection Process 2026
- According to the latest notice, There is no written examination. Selection is through screening followed by a Personal Interview.
- On the day of the interview, applications along with certificates are first screened to confirm requirements for the post applied.
- Only aspirants meeting the qualification requirements in all respects proceed to the Personal Interview.
- The conducting body has announced that, Depending on the number of aspirants , interviews may run until 8:00 PM on the same day, along with may continue the next day if required – aspirants must make their own stay arrangements in such cases.
- Furnishing wrong or false information is a ground for disqualification; EIL will not be responsible for any resulting disqualification.
- The shortlisted candidate will be allowed to join only if found medically fit.
How to Apply for EIL Associate Engineer Recruitment 2026
- Interested applicants should know that, Browse the career link on the EIL website: http://www.engineersindia.com
- Read all instructions on the website carefully before proceeding.
- The department has confirmed that, Fill in the online form with correct details. Round the percentage of marks down to the nearest whole number (e.g., 60.9% → 60), in addition to round CGPA down to one decimal (e.g., 6.95 → 6.9).
- Keep scanned copies ready before starting registration: a recent passport-size colour photograph (.jpg/.jpeg, max 75 KB) as well as signature (.jpg/.jpeg, max 25 KB).
- Detailed registration between 25 August 2026 along with 08 September 2026 (23:59 hrs) .
- The official notification states that, You do not need to send a printout by post. Instead, take a printout of the registered registration form ( 6 copies ), affix a colour photograph, in addition to bring these copies to the walk-in interview.

- Date of Birth proof: Matriculation/Class X certificate or Birth Certificate
- Certificates of educational qualifications: Matriculation/Class X/HSC/Degree/PG mark sheets as well as passing certificates of all semesters/years
- Proof of the norms adopted by your University/Institute to convert CGPA/OGPA/CPI or letter grade to percentage (a standard conversion table is used if this proof is unavailable – see note below)
- Experience certificates (original) for all declared experience, clearly showing date of joining, date of separation, as well as nature of work handled
- On demand: offer letter, confirmation order, pay slips, PF statement, ESI card, bank statement, etc., to substantiate employment (especially for applicants presently employed)
- SC/ST certificate (original, prescribed format), if applicable
- Valid OBC (NCL) certificate (original, Government of India format), if applicable

Important Conditions
- The hiring is purely on a fixed-term basis, initially for 2 years, extendable if required until completion of the assignment, subject to satisfactory performance, for a maximum of 3 years from the initial date of joining.
- Unless terminated earlier, the engagement automatically ends on expiry of the fixed term; no claim for regular appointment in EIL will be entertained.
- test-takers must be prepared to work anywhere in India along with abroad, depending on requirement.
- applicants must make their own arrangements for travel as well as stay for the interview; no allowances will be paid for this.
- The registered email address must remain valid/functional for at least 24 months from the date of submission; all correspondence, including selection intimation, is sent via registered email only.
- Any change, clarification, or corrigendum to the advertisement will be published only on www.engineersindia.com; no separate press notification will be issued.
- The conducting body has announced that, Any dispute arising from this recruitment is subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Delhi.
- It is informed that, EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or the selection procedure at any stage, without assigning any reason.
