Delhi High Court SPA & PA Vacancy 2026 – Post Details
  • The department has confirmed that, A total of 150 posts are being filled – 117 Senior Personal Assistant as well as 33 Personal Assistant, both Group 'B' posts. Category-wise post breakups are mentioned below.
  • Since there is no opening under the General category for the post of Personal Assistant, all clauses in the notice pertaining to the General category register only to the Senior Personal Assistant post.

  • All educational qualifications must be from a University/Institution/Board recognised by the Government of India or approved by Government regulatory bodies, with the final result declared on or before the closing date for receipt of online applications. applicants must submit a separate application for each post (SPA as well as PA) along with the requisite fee for each.
Delhi High Court SPA & PA Age Limit
  • As on 01.01.2026, a candidate's age should not be below 18 years as well as not over 32 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1994 in addition to not later than 01.01.2008).   • Aspirants are advised that, 15% posts for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, 27% for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10% for EWS, in addition to 4% for PwBD on horizontal basis, subject to availability in addition to orders of the Chief Justice. There is no reservation for Ex-servicemen in Group 'A' & 'B' posts.

  • The department has confirmed that, Both posts follow a four-stage recruitment process – English Typing Test, English Shorthand Test, Main (Descriptive) Examination, in addition to Interview.
For Personal Assistant
  • The final merit list is prepared by adding marks from Stage II, III, in addition to IV; Stage I (Typing Test) is qualifying only. Ties are resolved in order: Stage II marks, then Stage III marks, then Stage IV marks, then date of birth (older candidate preferred). No exemption from any stage, including Typing in addition to Shorthand tests, is given to any candidate, including PwBD aspirants ; there is no provision for a scribe or compensatory time for PwBD applicants in this recruitment.

  • The conducting body has announced that, The medium of examination shall be English language only.
  • The conducting body has announced that, aspirants must write their name, date of birth, along with parent's/spouse's name strictly as stated in the matriculation certificate.
  • At every stage of examination, applicants must carry two passport-size colour photographs (as uploaded) in addition to one original photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Driving Licence, Voter ID, PAN Card, University/College/Government ID, Employer ID, ESM Discharge Book, or similar).
  • No scrutiny of qualification is done before the Document Verification/Interview stage; candidature remains provisional until then.
  • The department has confirmed that, aspirants must disclose any pending criminal proceedings or FIRs in the online form; concealment may lead to disqualification.
  • The Delhi High Court reserves the right to alter the number of positions , modify the examination process, along with fix minimum cut-off marks without assigning any reason.
  • Candidates should note that, No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Typing Test, Shorthand Test, Written examination, or Interview.
