- The official notification states that, CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh has notified 6 openings across 3 posts. The reservation break-up for each post is given below.
CSIR-CSIO Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
- The minimum age for all posts is 18 years. Standard age relaxation applies for OBC (NCL) applicants (3 years, where the post is reserved for that category), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (10 years, 13 years for OBC-PwBD, subject to a maximum age of 56 years), Ex-Servicemen (3 years, or deduction of actual military service), as well as Widows/Divorced/Judicially Separated Women (up to 35 years, 38 years for OBC), as per Government of India rules.

- Pen- along with -paper exam - 100 objective-type questions across General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness in addition to English Language (25 questions each, 3 marks per correct answer, 1 negative mark per wrong answer); total 300 marks; duration 90 minutes
