- For General, OBC, EWS :Rs. 100/- (for male test-takers of General, EWS & OBC only)
- Exempted for SC, ST, Female (all categories) along with Ex-servicemen aspirants
- Note: Applications received without prescribed fee (where applicable) shall be summarily rejected. No hard copy of application is required to be sent.
CRPF Recruitment 2026 Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- The official notification states that, Age Limit for Constable (Driver): 21-27 Years
- Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle / Cobbler / Carpenter / Tailor / Brass Band / Pipe Band / Gardner / Bugler / Painter / Cook / Barber cum Hair Dresser / Washer Man & Women / Water Carrier / Safai Karamchari / Mason / Plumber / Electrician): 18-23 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

- Aspirants are advised that, Driver: Matriculation + Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License
- Candidates should note that, Motor Mechanic Vehicle: Matriculation + 2 years ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle + 1 year experience
- All other Tradesmen: Matriculation + proficient in respective trade
- As per the official update, Pioneer Wing (Mason/Electrician): Matriculation + 1 year experience in trade (ITI preferred)

Selection Process
- The recruitment process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Computer Based Test (CBT), Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification (DV) along with Medical Examination (DME/RME).
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature. For Constable (Driver, Motor Mechanic Vehicle, Gardner, Painter, Carpenter, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Cobbler, Tailor & Bugler): Male – 5 Kms race in 24 minutes; Female – 1.6 Kms in 8.30 minutes. For Constable (Cook/Water Carrier, Barber & Hair Dresser, Washer man & Washer women, Safai Karmachari): Male – 1.6 Kms in 10 minutes; Female – 1.6 Kms in 12 minutes. For Pioneer Wing (Mason / Electrician): Male – 1.6 Kms in 09 minutes. Pregnant women applicants will be declared temporarily unfit.

- Aspirants are advised that, Pregnant women applicants will be declared temporarily unfit.
- Physical Standards Test (PST): Height, Chest (for males only) & Weight (proportionate to height & age). aspirants failing PST will be eliminated. Chest (Male only): Un-expanded – 80 Cms, Minimum expansion – 05 Cms. Height: Male – 170 Cms (minimum); Female – 157 Cms (minimum). Relaxations applicable. Relaxations applicable for certain categories (ST, NE States, Gorkhas, etc.).

Qualifying marks: UR – 30%, EWS/OBC – 25%, SC/ST & others – 20%. Marks will be normalized. Merit list prepared on CBT marks.
- The department has confirmed that, General Intelligence & Reasoning – 25 Qs / 25 Marks
- General Knowledge & General Awareness – 25 Qs / 25 Marks
- Elementary Mathematics – 25 Qs / 25 Marks
- English/Hindi – 25 Qs / 25 Marks
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Qualifying marks: UR – 30%, EWS/OBC – 25%, SC/ST & others – 20%.
- Marks will be normalized. Merit list prepared on CBT marks.
- Trade/Skill Test: Qualifying in nature (50 marks, minimum 20 marks required). Practical assessment of the applied trade/post.
- Document Verification (DV): Original documents (Matric certificate, Domicile/PRC, Trade certificates, Caste/EWS/ESM certificates, etc.) will be verified.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME): As per Uniform Guidelines issued by MHA. Final selection subject to medical fitness. Temporary unfitness allowed only for pregnancy.
- As per the official update, Final merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in CBT (subject to qualifying all stages). Separate merit lists for male/female in addition to each State/UT (All India basis for Pioneer posts).

How to Apply
- Application Mode: Online only through CRPF website. No other mode will be accepted.
- Steps to register :
- Browse the departmental portal www.rect.crpf.gov.in.
- As per the official update, Click on the link for “Recruitment for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen in addition to Pioneer) 2026”.
- Aspirants are advised that, Register by providing basic details as well as generate Provisional Registration Number & Password.
- Fill the online registration form carefully (personal details, educational qualification, trade/post applied, State/UT of domicile, etc.).
- Upload scanned copies of recent colour passport size photograph, signature, left thumb impression in addition to handwritten declaration as per specifications.
- Pay the application fee online (if applicable) through BHIM, UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card or CSC Wallet.
- As per the official update, Submit the application in addition to take printout of the registration form & e-receipt for future reference.
- applicants should bring two coloured printouts of the Hall ticket at every stage of examination.
