CIHTS Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details
  • CIHTS position 2026 totals 59 posts across 40 subject/post combinations. The number of positions may vary depending on actual requirement, along with CIHTS reserves the right not to fill up any or all posts, or to cancel the whole recruitment process, without assigning any reason. Out of the total posts, any three will be filled with suitable PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) test-takers from specified disability categories.
CIHTS Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
  • CIHTS requirements varies by post in addition to subject. A candidate should meet the qualification criteria in addition to provide information current as of the closing date of online application submission; aspirants who do not possess the requisite essential qualification by the closing date will not be meeting criteria .   • The conducting body has announced that, Post Code 26403, Assistant Professor, Sowa-Rigpa (NCISM-2022): Age must not exceed 45 years at the time of first appointment.
  • Relaxation in the percentage of marks for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD aspirants is provided in accordance with UGC/GOI/CIHTS rules, as well as the Institute reserves the right to adopt relaxation as well as /or upgradation of qualification/experience/age at any stage, as recommended by the Screening/Selection Committee.
CIHTS Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
  • Interested applicants should know that, Merely fulfilling the minimum requirements requirements does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview; CIHTS reserves the right to restrict the number of aspirants called for interview.
  • The list of shortlisted test-takers will be displayed on the CIHTS website. Registration is provisional, as the criteria of shortlisted aspirants will be verified at the time of Interview/Pen- along with -paper exam from original documents.
  • A registered candidate's candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process, or even after joining, if any information provided is found false or not in conformity with the qualification criteria.
  • It is informed that, In-service applicants should send in through proper channel along with submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer with the application, or at the time of interview/pen- as well as -paper exam if shortlisted.
  • applicants will have to appear for the interview/pen- in addition to-paper exam at their own expense/arrangements.
  • The Institute reserves the right to adopt an appropriate method of screening in addition to shortlisting aspirants at any stage, which may include relaxation in addition to/or upgradation of qualification/experience/age, as recommended by the Screening/Selection Committee.

  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer, for in-service test-takers
  • It is informed that, Self-attested English or Hindi translation, along with the original certificate copy, for any certificate not already in English or Hindi
  • Conversion chart along with percentage equivalent, issued by the concerned board/university/institution, for test-takers who received letter grades or grading points instead of marks
CIHTS Recruitment 2026 General Instructions
  • aspirants must have a valid email ID along with mobile number for registration on the online application portal.
  • test-takers are advised to regularly review the CIHTS website (www.cihts.ac.in) for further instructions or information.
  • aspirants must indicate their caste/category in the appropriate column of the application document; leaving this column blank will not be treated as an application for the unreserved category, along with the application will be rejected as incomplete.
  • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) with disability less than 40% will not be considered against posts reserved for PwBD.
  • Any subsequent change of address, telephone number, or email address must be promptly communicated to the Registrar, CIHTS, Sarnath.
  • The conducting body has announced that, aspirants are advised to send in well in time to avoid last-minute rush.
  • Incomplete or incorrect applications, in any respect, will be rejected.
  • Canvassing in any form will render a candidate disqualified, in addition to their application will be rejected.
  • Interested applicants should know that, Any litigation in this matter is subject to Varanasi jurisdiction only.
