CBI Special Public Prosecutor Recruitment 2026 Trial Court Locations
- CBI Policy Division intends to create a panel of advocates for conducting trial of Lokpal-referred cases pending before the Special Judge, CBI, Ghaziabad. Separate, identically worded advertisements have been issued inviting applications for engagement as Special Public Prosecutor to conduct trial at each of the following courts:

CBI Special Public Prosecutor Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- The conducting body has announced that, The following requirements criteria register uniformly to all four CBI Special Public Prosecutor advertisements:
- Educational Qualification: LLB.
- Enrollment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
- Experience at the Bar of handling criminal matters in Sessions Courts.
- An unconditional willingness/consent to work on the general terms & conditions approved by the Government of India from time to time.
- A minimum standing of 10 years as an Advocate is required for considering an advocate for CBI Special Public Prosecutor, along with details of significant criminal cases handled by the applicant.
- Experience in conducting trials of cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, is a mandatory pre-condition.
- Aspirants are advised that, Eligible applicants shall be required to be stationed at the place where the concerned Court is situated. No travelling allowance or reimbursement of travel expenses shall be admissible for attending the Court.
CBI Special Public Prosecutor Recruitment 2026 Professional Fee
- The Professional Fee of the advocates engaged as Special Public Prosecutor will be governed by the terms & conditions contained in DoPT File No. 225/19/2023-AVD-II dated 08.04.2024. The specific fee amount is not specified in the notification itself; a copy of the DoPT file is stated to be attached to the government advertisement.
