Category-wise Reservation of Posts
  • Out of the Grand Total figures above, women aspirants are reserved (RFW) as follows: Electrical - 4 (3 Open + 1 OBC/MOBC); Mechanical - 2 (1 Open + 1 OBC/MOBC); Information Technology - 0; Instrumentation - 0; Civil - 3 (2 Open + 1 OBC/MOBC). PwBD reservation is within the total in addition to denotes the type of disability (HI-1: Hearing Impairment; OH-1: Orthopedic disability). Reservation is according to the draft advertisement received from the Government, against the total number of posts in the cadre.
Nationality and Domicile
  • The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India
  • The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam
  • As domicile proof, aspirants must upload a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose, or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate, which will be treated as proof of residency
Educational Qualification
  • As per the official update, Full-time Diploma course in Engineering from any Government/Government-recognized/AICTE-approved Polytechnic or Institution
  • Course duration must be a minimum of 3 years after HSLC or equivalent, or 2 years (Base) + 2 years (Diploma) from a Government/recognized/AICTE-approved institution
  • Minimum 60% marks required in the qualifying examination of the Diploma course (minimum 50% for SC as well as ST applicants )
APSC Junior Manager Age Limit
  • The official notification states that, test-takers should not be less than 21 years in addition to not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2026 .
Age Relaxation
  • Age will be calculated based on the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Entry pass/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council, where the Date of Birth is clearly reflected. No other document will be accepted for age proof.

APSC Junior Manager Application Fee

The Commission may as well decide to conduct examinations/tests zone-wise, depending on the number of test-takers against the districts in each zone.

  • Experience certificate, wherever necessary
  • Aspirants are advised that, Declaration Form-A regarding the Small Family Norms, as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17 dated Dispur, 6 November 2019 (downloadable from www.apsc.nic.in, Forms & Downloads section)
  • Recent photograph (50 KB–200 KB, not older than 3 months) as well as signature (50 KB–200 KB)
