Details
Senior Resident (Medical Candidates)
- A Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or equivalent in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute, as provided under the Residency Scheme. All Residency Scheme terms along with conditions register .
- It is informed that, Hospital Administration: MD in Hospital Administration, or full-time Master's in Hospital Administration (after MBBS), or DNB in Hospital Administration.
- Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank: MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine or Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion.
- Trauma & Emergency Medicine: MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine/Orthopedics/General Surgery/Anaesthesiology/General Medicine/Pediatrics.
- Super-specialty departments: DM/M.Ch/DNB or equivalent in the respective discipline, from a recognized University/Institute under the Residency Scheme.
- The department has confirmed that, Dentistry: MDS.
Senior Demonstrator (Non-Medical Candidates – Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry & Biostatistics only)
- M.Sc./M.Biotech/M.Stat degree in the concerned subject, along with a Ph.D. in the concerned or an allied subject, from a recognized University/Institute.
AIIMS Kalyani Senior Resident Selection Process 2026
- There is no written examination. Selection is based purely on performance in a Personal Interview.
- Aspirants can register for more than one post/department, filling a separate application document in addition to paying separate fees for each.
- Interested applicants should know that, Applications in addition to documents are verified at the time of reporting for interview; only meeting criteria test-takers (as stated in the requirements list uploaded on the Institute website) are allowed to appear.
- Interested applicants should know that, A merit list (picked in addition to waiting list) is prepared category-wise (UR/OBC/SC/ST), based on interview performance.
- As per the official update, If applicants are not found meeting criteria in the advertised category, applicants from other categories may be considered against that category on a temporary basis.
- Any opening arising due to non-joining or resignation by a shortlisted candidate will be offered to applicants from the waiting list, in order of merit.
- The final result will be displayed on www.aiimskalyani.edu.in.
How to Apply for AIIMS Kalyani Senior Resident Recruitment 2026

- Before starting, keep the following ready as scanned files: all certificates (PDF), a scanned photograph (image file), a scanned signature (image file), along with a scanned payment receipt (PDF).
- Fill in the online form, selecting your preferred department(s) in addition to choice of online/offline interview mode – this choice is final along with cannot be changed later.
- Submit the online application on or before 10 September 2026, 5:00 PM . No hard copy of the application is accepted at this stage.
- The joining link (for those opting for the online interview) will be shared with shortlisted test-takers before the interview date; the qualification list will be uploaded on the Institute website.
- On the day of the interview, bring the completed application in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of all certificates/documents supporting age, educational qualification, as well as experience.
Application Fee
- The official notification states that, Fee is payable via NEFT in favour of "AIIMS KALYANI INTERNAL RESOURCES ACCOUNT", A/c No. 41277688529, IFSC SBIN0063963, State Bank of India, AIIMS Kalyani Branch. Fee once remitted is non-refundable under any circumstances; applications without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected.
Other Conditions
- The official notification states that, applicants already in service must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer at the time of interview, as well as must take prior permission from their employer before applying.
- aspirants applying under EWS will be considered only if EWS applicants are not available for that post, as well as will then be treated as UR applicants with no category-specific relaxations; the fee will not be refunded in such cases.
- PwBD aspirants must submit a Disability Certificate signed by a duly constituted Medical Board of a State/Central Government hospital in addition to countersigned by the Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Institution; joining is subject to medical fitness certification.
- Shortlisted aspirants are likely to be posted at rural health in addition to urban centres attached to the Institute, for a period decided by the Institute.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. test-takers must not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
- The official notification states that, AIIMS Kalyani reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions , in addition to to amend, cancel, or change this advertisement, in whole or part, without prior notice.
- Any dispute arising from this recruitment is subject to the jurisdiction of the Calcutta High Court.
