AIIMS Guwahati Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Quick Overview
- AIIMS Guwahati is an Autonomous Institute of National Importance established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) by the Ministry of Health as well as Family Welfare, Government of India. Special Specialty Preference: Trauma and Emergency Medicine
- For the post of Professor in Trauma as well as Emergency Medicine (UR-1), the order of preference of specialty during selection is:

- Anaesthesiology with experience in critical care
- Orthopaedics with experience in trauma
- Candidates should note that, General Surgery with experience in trauma or Fellowship in Trauma care
- For the post of Assistant Professor in Trauma along with Emergency Medicine (OBC-1), the specialty distribution is Obstetrics as well as Gynaecology.
AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- The official notification states that, Test-takers must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification, experience, as well as age criteria as on the deadline of submission of the online application (the applicable cut-off date). - Shortlisted applicants are called for an interview, where they must produce all original documents in support of the details furnished in their application.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- You can send in for more than one post, however must submit a separate application as well as pay a separate fee for each post.
