Zilla Panchayat Kolar, through the Office of the District Ayush Officer, has released a notification inviting applications for 2 Specialist Doctor posts under the National Ayush Mission (NAM) - one Homoeopathy Specialist Doctor and one Ayurveda Specialist Doctor - purely on a temporary contract basis. Eligible candidates can apply between 20 July 2026 and 20 August 2026. Educational Qualification Post Name Required Qualification Homoeopathy Specialist Doctor MS/MD postgraduate degree in Homoeopathy. If postgraduates are not available, candidates with a BHMS degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience will be considered, without PG allowance. Ayurveda Specialist Doctor MS in Shalya Tantra or MD in Panchakarma/Kayachikitsa Age Limit Candidates must have completed a minimum of 18 years as on the date of application. Selected candidates for both the Homoeopathy Specialist Doctor and Ayurveda Specialist Doctor posts will be paid a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 52,550/- plus Rs. 5,000/- PG Allowance (PG allowance is applicable only to postgraduate degree holders). The monthly amount is released subject to satisfactory performance of duties.

1. Merit (marks obtained in the qualifying degree) - 70% weightage
2. Experience - 20% weightage
3. Interview conducted by the District Ayush Committee - 10% weightage
