VNIT Nagpur Deputy Director Recruitment 2026 - Apply Offline

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur (VNIT Nagpur) has published the Deputy Director Recruitment 2026 notification. The recruitment drive aims to fill 1 Deputy Director position. Candidates not exceeding 60 years of age with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professor, including at least 2 years as HoD/ Dean, and an outstanding academic record with notable contributions in academics, administration, and outreach activities are eligible to apply through Offline mode on or before 25 July 2026. Minimum 5 years of experience as Professor, should have done at least 2 years as HoD / Dean, sufficient contribution in academics, administration and outreach activities, eminent person in his / her field of specialization with an outstanding academic record.

1. Applications are invited from presently working Professors of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur.
2. The appointment shall be made from amongst the senior faculty members of the Institute on the recommendations of the Selection Committee as per provisions under Statute 23 (5) (a) of the NIT Statutes.
3. The appointment shall be for a period of three years initially which may be extended by two times for one year each on recommendation of the Board.
