Vijayapura Municipal Corporation Civil Servant Recruitment 2026 – 118 Vacancies, Apply by 15 July

The District Urban Development Cell, Vijayapura (DC Office) has issued an official notification inviting applications for 118 direct recruitment civil servant (Pourakarmika) posts in Vijayapura Mahanagara Palike. Applications open from 10 June 2026 and the last date to apply (with attested documents) is 15 July 2026 . The application fee is Rs. 100 and must be paid at the Municipal Corporation office. All applications must be submitted offline at Vijayapura Mahanagara Palike's Central Office.

Must be mentally and physically fit to perform duties. Candidates declared medically unfit by the medical board will be disqualified. | Candidates who worked as Pourakarmika on outsourcing/daily-wage/contract basis and died due to COVID-19 or other reasons while on duty — one family member of such deceased worker is eligible to apply. | Candidates with hands-on local field experience in waste management, public toilet operations, and zero-waste management in the municipal corporation are preferred. | Must have knowledge of Kannada language. | Must not have been involved in any criminal case. | Must not have been dismissed from any office/department for disciplinary reasons. | Must not be a student (vidyarthi). | Reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC categories and other backward classes are not mentioned in this notification as per the direct (Nera Pavathi) recruitment process applicable here, and reservation provisions under that Act do not apply to this process. | Salary bank statement, ESI and EPF bank statements, or attendance records for those who have previously worked in higher-grade posts. | Service certificate from the competent authority.
