Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of submission of online application (20-06-2026). Applications are open to eligible Indian Citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs). Minimum qualification at the Master's level is 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale). A relaxation of 5% is allowed at Bachelor's and Master's level for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/PwBD candidates. A relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) is also available to PhD holders who obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19 September 1991. Only Matriculation/SSC certificate or equivalent issued by the concerned educational board will be accepted as proof of date of birth. Educational Qualification Post Essential Qualification & Experience Assistant Professor As per UGC Notification 18th July 2018 (UGC Regulation No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS)) and subsequent amendments. Minimum 55% marks at Master's level from a recognized University. NET/SET/SLET qualification or Ph.D. degree as per UGC norms. Associate Professor (Pay Level-13A) (i) Good academic record with Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline. (ii) Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade). (iii) Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience at Assistant Professor level (or equivalent) in a University/College/Accredited Research Institution, with minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulation No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS), 18th July 2018. Professor (Pay Level-14) – Option A (i) Ph.D. degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline with published work of high quality; minimum 10 research publications (Clause-12) and a total research score of 120 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulation No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS), 18th July 2018. (ii) Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor or research experience at equivalent level with evidence of successfully guided doctoral candidate. Professor (Pay Level-14) – Option B An outstanding professional with Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from any academic institution or industry, who has made significant contribution to knowledge in the concerned discipline, supported by documentary evidence, with 10 years of experience.
