The Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (Board of School Education Uttarakhand), Ramnagar, Nainital has released the notification for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2026, known as UTET-I & II 2026. The test is conducted in two levels - UTET-I for candidates seeking eligibility to teach primary classes (I to V) and UTET-II for candidates seeking eligibility to teach upper primary classes (VI to VIII). Online applications open on 14 July 2026 and the exam is proposed to be held on 29 September 2026 (Tuesday). Passing UTET is one of the minimum qualifications required for appointment as a teacher in government, government-aided, and state-recognized primary and upper primary schools in Uttarakhand.
